obama's top general itching for iran war

this is getting interesting: one general on his swansong tour tells congress the US needs to go to war with pakistan, while the incoming chief pushes for an attack on iran:
Gen.: Iran may seek mass U.S. casualties in Iraq - CBS News: "(AP) WASHINGTON - Iran's stepped-up arming of Shiite militiamen in southern Iraq who are targeting American troops may be designed to trigger a "Beirut-like moment" of mass U.S. casualties, the Obama administration's nominee to be the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told Congress on Tuesday.
Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, in testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, was asked by Sen. Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., about a previous statement Dempsey had made in which he expressed concern that Iran might miscalculate the level of U.S. resolve to assist Iraq."
the US is determined to go to war with someone -- and soon. this is the eventuality that rick perry and his GOP cohort can't stand, but also can't stop.

you can't top the line about US resolve to assist iraq, either. how many iraqis have we killed already, and how many displaced persons owe their situation to the helpful americans? we've already done so much in the way of assistance, it's almost beyond belief that anyone could miscalculate our level of resolve!

ah well, they're all a bunch of dumb shits. not like the american people... get it?

obama, for his part, would like the war to come and save his reelection campaign -- which is otherwise doomed -- while his backers on wall street need the iranian domino to fall so they can gain total control over the greatest strategic prize: all that fucking money! if the US can only knock off the mullahs, they'll have the entire oil heartlands of the planet in their grasp.

besides that, what else really even matters?

so get those flag decals for your car ready. this is going to be a time of great national sacrifice, as we use all the latest video-game to go on the final crusade against the muslims!

thank you jesus!
