Freed Hikers fail to Discuss US detainees

you would think, from the sound of this, that our hands are clean:
Freed Hikers Discuss Life in Iranian Prison - ABC News: "Freed U.S. hikers Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer told reporters gathered at a New York hotel that they were so isolated in the Iranian prison where they were held for over two years that they didn't know they were being freed until minutes before their release last week.
Now that they are back on American soil, Fattal and Bauer are using their newfound freedom to discuss the two years they spent in a Tehran prison and to condemn their captors."
can we perhaps balance this story -- horrible as it probably is -- with tales of the thousands of captives of the US in places like bagram and guantanamo, as well as other CIA "black sites" around the world?

of course not. no need to acknowledge reality and confuse a good propaganda tale of how horrid our "enemies" are.

a word of warning to all you other innocent "hikers" -- don't go tooling around in iran, if you know what's good for you. after all, it's well know -- if not openly acknowledged -- that the US is actively engaged in "regime change" in iran, and has "assets" employed on iranian soil.

or did you now hear about that?
