In comments that were the first to directly link Pakistan’s powerful spy agency, the Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI, with an assault on the United States, Admiral Mullen went further than any other American official in blaming the ISI for undermining the American military effort in Afghanistan."

here we go again: the wheels are starting to come off the stock market as the US economy lurches back into recession. what we need right about now is a major shootin' war in central asia!

so right about now, we have the chairman of the joint chiefs telling congress that the paks were behind the taliban assault on the US' afghan embassy last week. how these guys couldn't see 9-11 coming but can finger the pakis on this simply beggars belief -- they just aren't that smart...

unless, of course, they're just reading from the script they were handed on the way out of the office. the oligarchs are getting antsy, and they need some action to stir things up before the whole thing blows up in their faces.

while the US can't afford another war and this will be the biggest catastrophe for the US yet, desperate people sometimes depend on desperate measures to get out of a jam.
