While the following dispatch from the AP sounds suspiciously like ass-covering from Damascus, it is at the same time a Hollywood script-writer's dream:

If you trace support for the Syrian "opposition" to the fountainhead, you'll find that abundant sewage flows directly from the international bankers' syndicate, whose hold on nations and resources is always strengthened by its proximity to the world's policeman, the USA.
